P4 2.8 is overclocked to 3.5.

With a Zalman 7000 is stays about 38 degrees most of the time but if I run Prime it goes to 44 degrees

XP1900+@1900+

Ambient: 80F/27C

Idle:
Case: 98F/36.7C
CPU: 110F/43.3C

Load:
Case: 102-104F/ 38.9C - 40C
CPU: 122F/50C

It has gone up to 128F before under load.

Radeon 9000 pro inside + 4 hard drives + 1 dvd-rw + 1 cdrw which probably doesn't help much :)

It's been chilly lately in SD but I haven't seen my system go above 39C under full gaming load yet. This is after several hours of play. Usually it's right around 31-35C.

I ran Sandra 2004 for 10 runs doing the burn in testing and my mainboard temp never exceeded 33C. Did it not get worked out or what? I don't know why but it didn't report CPU temp, only MB temp.

I believe these temps are correct because my case has a temperature sensor probe mounted on the bottom of the case to check ambient case temp. That temp is always a couple degrees just below what my Asus PC Probe and Speedfan software reports the CPU temp at.

How does everyone's temperatures stay so low? Is it because of my 4 hard drives? My cpu temp is around 118-120 Idle and 130 almost under full load. I've cleaned out the case (dust wise) and put new arctic silver on my cpu.

P4 2.6c@3.5

Watercooled w/Cascade waterblock-

Ambient-20c
Idle-22c
Load-28c
Case temp-29c

My results show how skewed motherboards are when it comes to reporting CPU temps. There is no way my temps are anywhere near those noted. I'm guessing I'm probably about 30-32c idle and around 40c under load.
