Wow. That is a really noisy setup (84 CFM). WAY overkill for a Tually @ 1.33 GHz. Those chips dont need anything like that. Replace that fan with a Panaflow L1A to quiet things down.

I run a P4 1.6A @ 2.4 GHz with the stock HS/Fan and ASII

1.4GHz Tualatin Celeron overclocked to 1.757GHz using a TT Volcano 7+ at full speed. It does run hot, though, at around 53 degrees Celsius but that's because of that darn heat spreader. Get rid of the heat spreader, Intel!:|

P4 2.53 C1 @ 3.14 GHz., Radeon 9700 Pro revision 3

Temps:

MAX LOAD: 33C CASE MAX LOAD: 31C
CPU IDLE: 28C CASE IDLE: 27C
GPU CORE MAX: 36C GPU CORE IDLE: 29C

Cooling:

CPU: Switfech MCX4000 w/ Vantec Tornado (running through a nexus at ~ 50% speed, because from 50% to 100% speed I only dorp 1C degree)
CASE: *6* 30CFM Case Fans
GPU: Modified custom 1U Rackmount server (Dynatron) with a 60mm sunon screamer on it (7700 RPM)

With all on max power, well, "a thermo-nuclear weapon went off you say? Outstide my front door? I didn't hear anything..."

XP1700 T-Bred @ 1666 w/ SK-7 heatsink and 70mm 4500 RPM fan (not sure on cfm but it's a cheap one so probably around 30)

idle = about 41 C
max observed = 50 C

Hmm...I think my 8RDA+ mobo under-reports temps. Have XP 1700+ T-bred B, SVC GC-68 heatsink, Artic Alumina. Running actual speed of 1800 Mhz (12 x 150) and under load (Prime95), temp is at 41 C. I'm a little wary of the current heat levels since I really don't know what the core temp actually is (Why won't any nforce2 mobos read the XP diode?). I'll back down one notch on the multiplier when I reboot.

Is that a T-Bred B? Because that is one heck of an overclock!! Also, what 80mm fan are you using?

Running an XP1700+ OC to 1.6GHz using stock cooler getting 48C. Not bad IMO, once I get my Swiftech, hopefully I can crank this thing up!

I don't believe this is a T-Bred B. Unfortunetly I didn't look at the Chip to see which it was before I put the HSF on. And I'm not about to take it all apart on look. As far as the Fan?? The 80mm fan that I am using came with the Alpha PAL 8045. You can get the HSF without or as a combo. I took the advantage of the combo. Look at Newegg.com to see which kind it was if you wish.

This is what I have...................The 2.53 runs at 98f idle and never gets over 116f under load. As for my 2.2 system, that runs at 87f idle and never gets over 100f under load. The diferance is the fan, a bit loud, and that is why the 2.53 has a tad bit lower cfm fan.

I don't trust the accuracy of ANY motherboard monitoring, but here's what mine says:

Thermalright AX-7 w/Sunon 50 cfm, Arctic Alumina paste, Palomino 2100+ AGOIA-W @ 190*10 w/1.85v. Idle - 38*C, gaming - 42*C.

Athlon XP 2400+ (200x11 = 2.2GHz), SLK-800, YS-Tech 39cfm, 50C
or
Athlon XP 2400+ (166x12.5 = 2.075 GHz) at no more than 42C

Still testing to see which gives me better performance with the hacked vs. non-hacked BIOS.
