I'm on comcast standard cable, which shouldn't exceed 1500kbps.. 😕

Some Comcast locations have doubled the download speed from 1500 to 3000Kbps for no extra cost. I have standard Comcast cable at the new speed and our speeds are similar (mine 2200Kbps, your's 2000Kbps)

 
That is a sh!tty bandwidth test.

BTW, 1.5mbps = ~196kb/sec .. so it sounds like you're getting your advertised bandwidth.

The test results are not even close to accurate.

I could get 1.1MB up or down consistently on my uni connection.
