only thing changed is i now have a 24 inch widescreen monitor

Let me guess: Your 22" stopped working, right?

I could have fixed it. I had one and sold it to my boss because I never used it (had other monitors already).

Months later, it started having problems powering-on, but he could make it work by letting it warm up and turning it off and on again.

Over a year after that, it stopped working completely. I replaced the bad capacitors and it worked 100%. Because the replacement caps weren't using the bad formula, it's not going to have the same problem again.

WIsh I had taken pics of my place in Eugene. Threads like this embarrass me now.

Anyway, its just two basic desks from Staples (fake wood) and a computer tower underneath each. Office system has a tiny little amp and two big ass 4-ohm speakers. Game system has a logitech Z-5300. Both are using HP 2335 monitors.
The only benefit is I'm on the third floor with a window, and since I can see the world all the time, I am motivated to go stand outside and get fresh air several times a day. Which is good cuz homework drains my brain.

I'm in the middle of a rearrangement of my computer area, but hopefully I'll get everything done in the next week or two and then I'll post a pic. It's a mess right now.

In the mean time... here are some old ones:
1st was in the middle of redoing my home server to move everything to the Intel SS4200

2nd is after it was cleaned up

3rd is my first place living on my own, when I got my Pioneer Kuro and was setting it up... Desk is to the left of this

4th is place I'm currently at and this is more or less what it still is, but some changes have happened from here

Caption: "I don't normally watch football, but when I do, it's on at least 5 different screens" :p

You have to watch 5 games at once because 90% of each game is commercials/players standing around/coaches standing around/refs standing around.

The cableco I started working for just started offering "NFL RedZone." It's a new channel that dynamically switches between games as players get within a certain range of the end zone, so you get nothing but action. We're charging about $30 for the season. Heard good things about it so far.
