1. The ring pulls from soda cans are being collected to donate to the Ronald McDonald House. Since I stopped drinking soda about a year ago, the collection is pretty much static so I guess I should just go ahead and donate them as-is.

2. The netflix mailer sheets are my collection. Returning the movies that came in the other portion of the mailer doesn't invalidate my collection of the mailer sheets. :p
(Collecting bottlecaps is valid even though the soft drink has been consumed and "returned")

EDIT: oh, and you're really messing with me and my avatar, FelixDeKat.

you collect just the envelopes?

lol

that is good

for me, just imagine about two of these next to each other

I don't feel like taking everything out and taking pictures

If you don't have anything nice to say, stfu please.

I kinda agree with godless... collecting shoes is very feminine. Are you a metro fmr? You know one of those guys that dress like gays?

I am not trying to be offensive i am trying to work out why a male would collect shoes.

I don't really collect anything anymore, but I have one hell of a Beanie Baby collection stored in the closet at my parent's house. With any luck they'll be worth selling in about 10 years :D

I collect coins/stamps/obsolete computer parts. Unfortunately, I lack a digital camera. :(

I see the appeal of collecting limited edition basketball shoes. Not gay.

Yes, the pull apart portion of the envelopes. The main part has to get sent back to hold the DVD to return it to Netflix.

In an attempt to validate this as a "collection", I've gathered some information about them:

I have 669 total.

(I'm quite glad that I got three more in the mail yesterday or that would have been a really bad sign)

If I were to line them all up, I'd be able to cover 223 square feet.

So ... do you watch the movies or do you just rip off the envelops and send the discs back?

I still have my GI Joes from the 80's. But they are in storage and I'm not breaking them out just to take pics.
One day (when the economy turns around) some dude my age will pay big bucks for them.

Man I love you people on these forums - love the stereotypes!

I would suggest you hop over to eBay and look at the prices of these limited shoes. I have numerous pairs that have tripled or more in value since I bought them.

I'm about as metro as a white, 34yr old accountant, Dad of a 14yr old daughter can be..........

A few more pics for the haters!

Adidas ZX8000 Brazil
Trainer III Viotech
Rift Dragon
Lebron James III All-Star Laser
Jordan VII Olympic
Ronalinho Brazil World Cup 2006
Silver Surfer Dunk
Heineken Dunk
