My sister worked for a very high end florist in Manhattan many years ago. She remembers he helped this one couple for flowers during a ritzy holiday party.
Well she got to go to their house to do some of the consulting with him.
Anyways they had multiple Christmas trees set up each with their own theme. Each tree was like 5-10k all told. So they had around 20K, and probably more, sitting in their home in Christmas trees for the holiday season. Doesn't count anything else for the decor. I'm sure they couldn't repeat themes each year, so every year a new expense.
That's rich rich.
