another nokia N73 here. mocha and white.
probably the best phone I have ever owned, the user interface is simply fantastic. symbian makes all the difference. like Jahee, I agree that if the phone had wifi it would be truly complete.

Nokia E61
Simply the best phone ever made hands down, it's like having a small computer with internet access with you 24/7.

- Runs on Symbian S60 3rd edition instead of the crappy windows mobile you see on other phones.
- Huge development community
- Very Sturdy
- Not very expensive
- Quadband, you can use it any where around the world
- Office suite, printer interfacing, bluetooth and what not
- Full QWERTY keyboard
- Works with T-mobile's T-zones, which gives you unlimited internet access for $ 4.99 a month WOW!

To tell you how good this phone is for me, I once was on a long car trip with a friend, and then I got the idea of how I can fix my code. I opened my phone, SSHed to my server VIMed my code and compiled it and it all

LG VX4500 with Verizon

It's adequate. Has speakerphone. I don't browse with it.

One quirk: It can and has woken me up in the middle of the night several times with the power-on chimes. It's not supposed to do that. So, I don't leave it in my bedroom when I go to bed without turning it off. They claim they haven't had similar complaints, so either they are lying or I have a lemon.

Motorola v360, and I loathe it. I swear this thing is microwaving me. I can't leave it in my pockets or I get phantom vibrations in my legs where the phone rests, and I get the brain pain if I talk on it for more than a minute or two. I have to pull the usb cable perfectly straight out or it crashes on me. And it arrived damaged, but that's thanks to T-Mobile (I hate them too).

You might have a lemon. I'd be concerned about your evident reaction to the radiation. I usually use a headset when I use my LG to avoid radiation. I will not walk around holding a cell phone to my head.

Samsung A900 flip from Sprint. It's one of the best phones I've had, and the MP3 player is way better than my Creative Zen.

Has 1.3M cam for stills and video but I seldom use that option.

I have some Sanyo phone that Sprint was offering a couple of years ago. I like it because it's pretty rugged and gets a good signal. I use the speakerphone a lot, and the camera rarely.

Sprint Samsung A900(Blade). Pretty much competitor version of Moto Razr.

Love the bluetooth, the look, picture quality. The signal could be better though.

Blackberry 8800. I like it because it's thin, and it provides me with everything I need from email, to internet browsing, to calendar/tasks.

Just got a LG VX8700 with Verizon. Works great so far, beautiful phone. The 2mp camera is amazing. I was looking to buy a cheap PS camera but I think i'll just stick with the phone. 2gig MicroSD card for $20 and i'm good to go. I really like being able to transfer the pictures to my laptop via bluetooth without having to take the phone out of my pocket.

I have a nokia 8801 and a samsung blackjack. The 8801 is great because not too many people have it and I hate being one of the many in the crowd. BUT, it has poor battery life (a day's worth of charge if I don't talk more than an hour). The blackjack is awesome and I've gone 4 days of excessive use without charging with the extended battery (just edge, no 3g or bluetooth).

Kyocera Strobe. I love it/hate it. It's battery life is amazing I can easily run it even without a singnal for several days (Which as many know descreases battery life). And with the purchase of a cheap extended battery, the life of the phone easily reaches into at least 10-11 hours of constant talk.

However, it's loop antenna is horribly weak, something that isn't good in my sparsely covered area. However, it's internet connection ability it above all other phones. It also supports all 3 instant messengers.

So while I like the phone's ability, I really hate it's weak antenna.

I use Sony Ericsson K750i. It's design is neat. The camera's really good and so is the quality of the sound.

Probably your brother is too busy "OOh"ing and "Ahh"ing over" his IPhone like Raduque said earlier. :)

Warning: the Bluetooth on the VX8700 is absolutely abysmal. reception is measured in inches with my Plantronics Voyager 520 headset and my Thinkpad X61t laptop, and is highly dependent on phone/device placement AND orientation.
