wtf? you'd think a gtx would have enough memory.

i think its more of his cpu is at 3 ghz

Hey there little fella, I think you need to get out your calculater before you spit out out a one line comment that isn't even accurate. His machine was at 2.8Ghz, and last I checked, 2.53 to 2.8 Ghz isn't going to give you a 30% + performance improvement. So, we need to look elsewhere, what could be the reason? Ahhh, perhaps the cache? Being that he has double mine 😀. Yes, the game loves cache, that much is obvious.

Keep in mind 2.53 to 2.8 is clocked 11% faster. His score is more than 30% faster... The only loss of performance could be in my RAM, being that they are 2-3-2-7-1T which would translate into about .66% slower, negligable. The only main difference I see with his and the other guys is that they both have 1MB cache, where I only have 512K.

Wont open on mine either. Was wondering why. Guess it's because I have a 3.4 hyper thread P4.

Got 18900 with a Venice @ 2.42ghz and a Geforce 6200 w/4x AF forced in the drivers (forgot I had them off when I ran the test).

Woot.

😛

In this system 16895. Pretty obvious this benchmark is BIGTIME cpu limited. Judging from others scores, the video card doesnt matter as much.
