i want a new vid card :(

but its not that big of a deal i run serious same 2 at 1024x768 x32 along with RTCW and MOH2AA and it dosent have any problims runs then just as well and the next dude. and my roomie has a Gforce 256 and he can play all the games also at 1024 and the 3d mark wont even give him a score cause to many of the tests fail. i think that kinda funny

Oh gosh!! I think that the most breathtaking remark in this poll is the fact that 99% of the people own an AMD processor!!! :Q

It's astonishing if u think what was happening few yeras ago...!!! If only Intel people read this thread....
The last thing to say is that here in Europe (I believe that the majority lives somewhere in the US) the situation is still a bit better for Intel...but I think the ....falling of Rome is a matter of time too...
Oh, by the way my Radeon VE scores a 2100 in 3DMark2001 under 1024x768x32bpp all default....nothing special just mentioned....:p

Sys Specs:

1.2mhz AMD
Abit KT7-A Raid MB
512 MB PC133mhz RAM
Visiontek GeForce 3 Ti 200
Creative Labs 8x DVD w/Dx2 Decoder Card
Smart and Friendly 48x4x8
WD 30gb, Maxtor 40gb (Both ATA 100, 7200rpm)

My marks are at the 5700 range..and honestly I expected more, especialy when im seeing 1gig systems with same specs getting higher. My question...do I have some bottle necks somewhere? I can not get my TV out to work properly with the G3, and I'm wondering if I should rip out the DVD Decoder? Instead of having the monitor run SLI with the card I ran straight out of the G3 to see if that would make a diff, but it did not...but do you think the card just being in the system causes a drop in power, or the G3's efficency?

The MB is jumperless, and only goes up to 1.25x on the settings...is there another way to up the pro speed some? Also, what is a safe OC speed for the G3? I'm seeing most speeds of around 225/500...is powerstrip a safe program to do this with?

Neojin:
I can almost guarantee that you should expect somewhere close or past 7000 points with your setup. It is probably the tweaking of settings for the card that is the problem. I tried my GF3Ti200 card in a computer with the same mobo and a 1000@1440. Make sure you run the FSB highest possible instead of high multiplier.
After that you should make sure V-sync=Off, FSAA=Off, O/C the card to somewhere around 200/500 - if you can.

I think my 6323-score is even better with my Celeron after you wrote your score - ;)

As I said before, I tried my GF3 Ti200 on a similar system with the same motherboard (that has VIA KT133A) and the score I got with o/c graphics to 225/505 was 7000+.
BTW, it was with Win2k...
