thx. I don't think i'll be able to get any higher without a voltmod. my temps are still pretty safe so i'm considering it. then hopefully i'll get x800xl speeds.

that's odd, because I got over 4000 with my 6600GT. I'll have to run 3dmark03 and compare it to yours. I'm using 78.01.

EDIT: oh wow, I thought you had a 6600GT! My 6600GT is more powerful than a 6800NU WOOHOO!!! What do you have your driver settings at?

a 6800 nu is supposed to get in the 3800/3900 range stock, a 6600gt gets what 3600 stock, a nu overclocked can hit 5k

why are some people posting their scores with only info like "I have a 6600GT", and no notes on what their CPU is, how much ram they have, what board it's on.... pretty pointless if you ask me... still, it's the exception not the rule. Thankfully most people have their rigs listed in their sigs.

The rest of the rig has very little impact on 3DMark 03 and 05 scores, within reason. Obviosly if you are running a 7800GTX on a 1GHz machine you will notice. These are almost purely a graphics card test and the results are valid for comparison across different machines.

on another subject. I've heard of some issues with 3DMark03 not running on some machines. I've had this problem and it simply won't run on my rig. 3DMark05 works great.
