I am using a Leadtek 6800GT on a 3500+ Venice and only got 8066 on the 3dmark03....something sounds wrong. I think it is running at 351core at stock settings. Also I get 90C load temperatures while playing games...what's the deal with my card?
 
3DMark05 score = 8500

A64 Venice 3000+ @275x9=2475 mhz

I just broke 6000 (3DMark05) with my modified 16pipe X800Pro at 570/500. 6060 exactly on the first run with Cat 5.7.

Running an AthlonXP 3200+ (11x200) Barton on ASUS NForce2 mobo with 2GB.

Anyone else get an X800Pro over 6000 in '05?

Man you guys got some interesting test going hear . Interesting that you all seem to be comparing to the same Intel settup. I noticed some incomplete runs . Retest till you can turn in a cpu score. So we know your fairly stable.

 
my desktop rig is in my sig... my stock score was 4600. I got a score of 5550 when OCed the CPU to 2241 and the Vid card to 40 Mhz on both the core and the memory. Found I got a lot more horse power out of OCing the GPU than the CPU.

EDIT: oh yeah, this is 3DMark05

3DMark05 is designed to be a purely graphics card performance benchmark. The rest of your rig, within reason, has little to do with the overall score. That's how I can score so high with a much older AthlonXP.

Real world performance will of course be much different and depend heavily on the overall system. My AthlonXP system with a vid card scoring 6000 will not play high end games as smooth or as fast as an Athlon64 4000 running a vid card scoring only 4000. 3DMark01 is a better test of overall system performance.
