Technonut, that is a mighty fine 1.8a, if I must say so myself! Are you running the memory synchronously or using a divider (3:4)? How high will that XMS3500 go at CAS2? CAS2.5? Why haven't you o/c'ed the 9700:Q?

unfortunately i have to agree with this guy....
with both companies "cheater tweaking" their drivers JUST to run this benchmark faster ~ its made it useless

BTW: my current score is only 12617 (lol)

Yes, it is a sweet processor.

I am running a 3:4 DRAM Ratio with the PCI bus locked at 37MHz. CAS 2-7-2-2. I can run at 3 GHz with increased CPU voltage / lower RAM timings, but 2950MHz at 1.74V CAS 2-7-2-2 is very fast and responsive.

I do not usually OC my video cards. The 9700 is fast enough for me at default clock.

Using a Maze3 waterblock on the cpu and an R300 block from DangerDen on the gpu. I might relax the gpu timings just a bit, to prevent artifacting over a prolonged gaming session, but this is a useable system, not just one-shot specs for benching, like alot of those ultra-high scores we see posted over at the MadOnion ORB.

She'll go higher (3300MHz) but I have to reduce my mem timings a bit to do it, which results in a performance hit. I'm expecting a 256MB stick of the XMS3500c2 in Wednesday, so I hope to see 18,000+ 3DMarks then. Why? Because my AMD buddy said it couldn't be done, hehe; we bet $1 and that he'll have to use a P4 desktop wallpaper of my creation for a month. After that, I'm going to sell this awesome P4 and grab one of those cheapo c1 2.4B's over at NewEgg.
