No that would be too harsh and messy.

Step 1)

Place plastic bag in that cow-colored box your PC arrived in.

Step 2)

Get RMA number from cow-colored box company and address the box

Step 3)

Call courier for pickup

Step 4)

stand in a plastic bag and close box, slit wrists while inside.

Step 5)

it won't matter :)

j/k of course....in reality even these slow scores are plenty fast. To hunt down the cause you will have to do it step by step and see what's running that's hogging resources.

GeForce4 Ti4200 128 meg - 250/500.

I haven't done any tweaking yet - but I will soon :)

Hmm, Let's see,

XP 1800+
256 PC2100 DDR
Sparkle GeForce3 Ti200 @ 250/550
(not voltmodded - just normal cooling)

3DMark 2001 v300

1024x768x32 default
8652

A HELL of a lot better than the meagre 4567
I got on the same card with a Duron 700!!!

Ouch! Still getting used to the speed increase
But I still want a 9700!

Hey,
1st post for me. Yay.
Just wanna share my El Crappeh 3dMark2001 score :p

Here are my specs first..
TBird 1200@1452 1.87core (very stable)
FOP38 @ 7300rpm
Asus A7V133 that gives nice overvoltage (1.92 @ max)
Blue orb on Northbridge
256 (at the moment) shitty PC133 ram @ 145MHz CAS3 :/
Triplex 64mb GF4 Ti4200 @ 300/600 stock cooling. And its silver.
Old 21" Sony Trinitron
Soundblaster Audigy. (mmm. gold plugs)
Realtek 10/100 NIC. (standard)
80Gb WD 800JB HDD (8mb Cache)
20Gb Quantum Fireball 7200rpm HDD (used to be 2)
Removeable 6.4gb 7200rpm Quantum Fireball
470w Atlas 3fan PSU (same as Topower / enermax)
Tekram Ultra Wide SCSI card
Zip250 External SCSI
Old 32x8x4 Iomega ZipCD (yuck)
52x Samsung CD drive

I use a fulltower case with a pedestal fan on its side to 'ventilate'. Idle temps are 43C and 26C case. After an hour of DoD or UT, gets to about 46C.

AAAAAnyway...
I got a lousy 3Dmark score of 8817 using the latest 40.72 drivers. Bleh. :'(
