Post what phone you're using now and what you want next...

Me: Droid Incredible, on Page Plus, rooted, running SkyRaider.

I'm not a big fan of Verizon, but you can't argue with the signal penetration, I get a signal in the flipping basement of my hospital and in my parking garage, got tired of 0 bars using TMobile all the time.

Have been setting up a Droid gen 1 for kids, am moving us all to Page Plus, just rooted it, am leaving 2.2 on them for stability, have the first one pretty well tweaked, with SetCPU, just checked and the battery is @ 90% after 24 hours (idling). Should be getting the 2nd gen 1 Droid this next week.

Thanks for the links & all in the Android customization thread 😀

Dunno what I want for the next phone, I'm pretty impressed with the Moto Droid, it's just a bit heavy for me after using the Incredible though...

I'm going to the G2 as SOON AS POSSIBLE! I WANT IT NOW DANGIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Droid 1, liquid froyo

I'm not sure what I want for my next phone. Contract is up in 10 months or so, hope the next big thing comes out around then. 🙂

iPhone Gen 1 on AT&T, non-contract

I am keeping my options open. The given choice is a new iPhone 4 when my car decides to stop bleeding me for cash, but WP7 could be interesting (if it can sync with a Mac) and so does WebOS 2. I am not that interested in Android, but I want to put it on my original iPhone when I upgrade, just to stay informed.

I've got a Samsung Vibrant, and I'm not sure what I'm going to move to next. I want to get a G2, but that's not gonna replace my Vibrant.

I love the screen on this phone. Everything just pops and the black level is amazing. Definitely the best screen currently available followed closely by iPhone 4 imo.

I love the lightness, the size, and yes even Touchwiz. If they can fix the GPS issue this will be the perfect phone for me.

I have no desire for any other phone at the moment that's not running Super AMOLED. It's hard to look at any other screen after this.

Droid 1 with Sapphire, with another ~10months of contract to go.

I looked at the Galaxy S phones, and damn, they are nice, but I don't think they are going to be so hot in 10 months. Same with the G2, looks great now, but I don't think it'll have the same luster in 10 months.

I do, however, have a list of features I strongly desire. 4in screen, hardware keyboard, etc. I'd love a Super AMOLED screen, or its successor, too. I may not know what phone I want, but I do know two things for certain. 1) It will be an off contract purchase, and 2)There will be a Cyanogenmod flavor for it.

Moto Droid 1, pic in sig

what i want next prob does not exist. but something with a 4in screen and a non locked bootloader

I'd like to get the Captivate, but the GPS issue makes me not want to bother with it. After reading a thread where people with multiple Samsung phones have the same issue makes me think a fix isn't about to happen either.

Supposedly, there's a LG Android phone coming to At&t. I hope it's good, but LG keeps doing random stupid crap to what could be good phones.

Currently have an EVO and don't know what I'll get next. Likely the EVO 2 or whatever they call it. I have really fallen in love with the screen size. What I would like for the next generation is a better quality screen and better battery life. I don't need a 1.5Ghz dual core CPU on my phone but I do need better battery life while using data. I wouldn't mind it being a bit thinner either.

I have an iPhone 3G. Want an iPhone 4 but I don't really feel like paying full price for one. Still got a year left on my crappy 3yr contract. Fido won't give it to me for the subsidized cost.

I have an iPhone 3GS. I'm not sure what I want next... although I'm slowly getting trapped in the iPhone universe as I buy various apps over time. I'll likely end up with whatever Apple releases next summer... but we'll see. I like Android too but I prefer AT&T over T-Mobile due to general European-compatibility issues. Sometime in the springtime I'll look at what AT&T has, what T-Mobile has how Verizon's LTE is shaping up and what the rumors are for next year and I'll decide on my next phone.

I like Android phones but the reality of it is, as I buy more and more apps for the iPhone, I can talk all I want about switching but I probably won't just because I'd need to go buy new apps.

I also have a connected device or 2, iPad 3G, and I modded an iPhone 3G to use the data, it's sort of cool to have a mini tablet.

I've been using a Moto Q9h now for about 4 years. Works as good now as it did when I first got it, runs on W6.1. When it dies, and once W7 comes out I'll have to make a decision as to what to get. Very confusing, kind of leaning towards Android, but we'll see. Apple? Nah, well maybe...I have been with AT&T all that time too.

You still have the original iPhone? dang thats old. I don't think I've ever kept a phone for more than 2 years.

My current phone is the iPhone4. My next phone? I'm not sure. The only two platforms that I'm worried about is iOS and Android. I'm not at all interested really in WP7. As for Web OS? I think they have the slickest multitasking, but thats all that interests me, which is not enough for me to adopt it.

Using a AT&T Captivate right now. I'll wait until the end of September for the GPS fix (as stated by Samsung's Official Twitter).
If they don't release a fix, I'll probably raise a bit of hell to get out of my contract with AT&T.
Who knows, by then they might have a better Android device out.
