Eh. Good question! I know how to find good deals? I have made friends all over the world? Hallstatt was not expensive. Only 29 Euro/night for a very nice room/bathroom in a guest house. I also stayed two nights with friends. Ditto for Naxos, Greece. Typically, I pay around 40 Euro/night for a hotel room with private bath, AC, TV, ocean view. Germany would be a different story except for the fact that I am usually there on business and the company takes care of all expenses, including meals, etc.

Just a simple point and shoot Canon S230. The one shot of Helens is from the Johnston Ridge Observatory.
