I was working a third shift job at an Iron Foundry, needed to have some maintenance on my car that I could only get a dealer to do. The only "time slot" they had for the repairs was at 9AM and they told me it would take only a couple of hours. I get home from work at 7AM and go to bed, so I figured instead I would just take the car in after work at sleep after it was done until I have to leave.
I take it there after being quoted a price of about 200 to fix it. 11AM rolls around and the car hasn't been even taken into the garage. I asked what was going on, the assured me that the car was going to be in the garage in 5 minutes. I had read through all of their magazines and didn't want to watch their TV that only got reception on one channel, so I decided to walk across the street to the mall and walk around for a bit.
I wonder around for an hour and a half, walk back, and as I'm getting there, they are JUST THEN taking the car into the garage. Since I've been awake at this point for almost 22 hours, I plop down on their couch and fall asleep. I can't get to sleep because some mom and her 5 kids are running around screaming, so I just watch Judge Judy (I hate that lady.) 2 hours later and asked about my car... they still hadn't finished.
FINALLY, at 4:30, they came and told me that my car was ready. I get to the cashier and they told me the total was about $400... $400!!!!!!!!!!! YOU QUOTED ME FOR ABOUT $200!!! THAT'S ALL I HAD TAKEN OUT OF MY ACCOUNT TO PAY YOU WITH!!!!
So I ended up having to walk half a mile to the nearest branch of my bank, overdraw my checking account to get the remained of the money (I couldn't withdraw from my savings, it was presidents day or something dumb and the bank was closed.) and walk back to pay for my car. I get there right as the same damn cashier is locking the door and I have to argue with her to open the door back up so I can pay. I've been there from 8:30 until 4:30 and you won't let me have my car? Fsck you. I don't care if you are tired and you want to go home because pressing buttons and taking money is a hard job.
Finally, at 5:30 I get home. I have to leave for work at 8, so I get to bed, sleep for 2.5 hours and wake up wanting to kill myself for being so tired. I rush out the door, forget my lunch, have only $1 left in my wallet to buy any food and drive to work. I get pulled over on the way to work for doing 61 in a 55 (Lame.) and when I finally get to work I find out that the day crew was really productive in making the molds for the iron, so we're going to have to bust ass or be there until 10AM trying to get done.
The next day I get home from work at around 9AM, shower, then sleep until 8PM when I have to work again. ARRGGGHHH.
