All the children who post. From name-calling, to providing the lure for those free iPod spammers because they love its plasticky child's-toy looks so much, to calling supermodels ugly (this from guys 50+ pounds over or underweight), to jizzing their pants over gmail, to thinking u, ur, y, b, r, o, plz, thx, ne1, and wut are words (or worse, that only 'unkewl old people' (those older than 18) type normally), there isn't a thing they do that isn't fingernails-on-a-chalkboard annoying. ATOT's God-Squad segment would be a close second.

Interesting that a significant number of people complain about the mods here. I would like to add my voice to theirs, as I too dislike the favoritism, double standards, and general inability to take criticism.

odd part is about a year ago the mods were great here. when i first started posting the mods were fair and didnt kiss the sponsers rear.

seems like about a year ago is when it/they started going down hill.

If you have any more complaints about the Mods please post them now. They can't lock this thread otherwise the statement about "personal interests" will be absolutely true and seen by a lot of people. It can't slip by like in Forum Issues.

The new look. The look before this current one was cooler. This is too busy. The other one was classy.

whatever point of view anybody takes they alwasy end up getting called a moron or idiot. you think no name calling would be in the rules..... then you'd think theyd enforce it

but namely the name calling. i havnt fell victim to favoritism yet but that should be interesting....

Why are there so many complaints against the Mods? Granted, they are not perfect and I'm sure they make some mistakes. However, they are volunteers and they are just doing what the feel is best. I don't think complaints are necessarily wrong, if carried out constructively. I think it would be more appropriate to PM the Mod. And furthermore, we don't pay for this forum...it comes out of Anandtech's pocket, so we have to abide by their standards. I think Anand is doing us a favor....I'm sure he's given "life" to some dweebs here on the forums (because they don't have a life, except on this forum).

Name calling and the parody threads. Posting a topic these days almost always ends up getting you called something and bashed. And then there is the parody threads which I feel should have been nipped in the bud months ago. You cannot even tell what is real on here anymore.

If you are refering to the Moderator talk in this thread go look in Forum Issues. Almost EVERY thread about this was locked before too many people could post.

If you whiners have issues with the forums and/or Mods then why participate?

If you don't like it, don't read or post.

One more thing I hate about Mods is that they once (twice) ban me because I was telling the fcukers that started flamming me to fcuk off. They didn't do anything to the fcukers that started the flame, but me for defending myself. We (the mods and I) had an interesting email exchange in which I won my freedom, yet still they refuse to admit they're wrong. Kinda remind me of Bush and Co.

I like the forums. However I am a strong opposer of power in the hands of a few people being abused. Such as with the current situation with the Bush Administration. This is why I feel I must post.

Oh yeah, I forgot to add "people who assume too much and go on babbling about the wrong subject entirely" to the list.
