Thanks, I was wondering when I would hit 100Mil! I switched back to mining, after doing the F@H race and a few days besides, so I wasn't sure if I hit that milestone or not yet.

And Congrats to @lane42 and @TennesseeTony , and @IEC for their milestones as well.

Pretty crazy that, in one month (and then some) of Folding, I could basically churn out 50% of my total F@H points for the last 5-10 (however long I've been folding) years.

Some recent Folding@Home milestones:

@geecee — 100,000,000
@UsandThem — 400,000,000
@biodoc — 500,000,000
@crashtech — 666,666,666 :-)
Those too...

I reached 500,000,000 a week ago, on Milkyway, but still have 21 tasks yet that need validated (to actually hit 500M). I am trying to get as close to 500M as possible, which is why I am waiting on those 21 tasks instead of just running several more to get it over with. I have pulled all my AMD R9 cards from the primary systems, and replaced them with GTX1070's, since they are 50% off on ebay right now, and one heck of a good performing card (except for MW, and other double precision tasks). Also, I am learning to UNDERvolt the 1070's to get the same/better performance with less energy (30watts per card so far!).

I think what Tony meant was people are selling their used GTX 1070 cards starting around $200 (or best offer) now. Just go to Ebay, search for GTX 1070, and then select the "Buy Now" tab. I would link them, but they're all from individual sellers and not businesses.

I did, and yes, a little over $200 each. Not sure I am ready to bite on those.

A special thanks to Stefan, for alerting me to ignore some indicators that Smash Childhood Cancer would end in December......I will reach 50 years of computing contribution in project SCC in a about one week. (my current rate is a little more than 6 months of CPU time per day.) (189 treads)

I have now downloaded/am running, enough tasks to put me at contributing 50 years of computing power to Smash Childhood Cancer (WCG), not quite there yet, perhaps 30 hours, or less. This will be my 2nd 50 year badge, the first being OpenZika. Again, a special THANK YOU! to Stefan for letting me know the SCC 100% progress bar on the WCG Projects page is inaccurate.

Next, by Wednesday, I should have bumped up Mapping Cancer Markers (MCM) to the 20 year mark (pretty close to 18.5 years ATM). Then I will switch to Microbiome Immunity Project (MIP) for nearly a month to get it to the 20 year mark (currently at 10 years). Then I hope to get these both to the 50 year mark before the 2019 Pentathlon. :)

Anyone know the 'reference computer' WCG uses to compute points? Just curious. Seems I recall they use the Communist (Socialist?) method of points awarding, but not sure, in which the slowest computer and the fastest each get the same credit...
