Awesome. I know how that is. It took me a long time to get to even a couple hundred thousand, then I started borging computers for the race, and still only got 750k in a month. Now it's crazy the PPD that people get from a single box.

Passed - at last - the 500 000 pints milestone in LHC@Home classic.
That was one of my earliest projects to start with ... and it har no WUs for so long I almost despaired. Now for the 1M. which will probably take a year or so, because I dedicate only one CPU to that project.

congrats Peter!

it took me ~7.5 years to pass the 1 Million mark in LHC@Home Classic (SixTrack). i'm not sure what percentage of my total can be accredited to the single-core Pentium 4 Northwood system i had for ~7 years, but i had the P4 on LHC@Home for a good 5 years before i upgraded to an AMD Phenom II 1090T system...

Way to show off, Mark. 😛 Congrats!

I just made #5 on the F@H TeAm in the past month and am on my way toward 50 Million in September and passing Gravity near my birthday next year.

It's crazy this is all from a single machine with only 2/3 of its cores dedicated to F@H and only 16GB of RAM... I think I need to borg some more machines again...
