As much as I hate to interject sadness into this thread...our beloved Dachshund Peanut was run over by a truck on the 21st of November, RIP buddy:




His big brother, Vader (the black lab I've posted earlier in this thread), was distraught, and yesterday through a bit of luck and possibly divine intervention we were able to bring Violet into our lives (or, more accurately, she *allowed* us into hers):
