Humans can be so amazingly good. The thrill of helping an animal in distress and then receiving a huge "thank you" by that animal in its own way, must feel great.
Haven't had the chance in awhile as I work a different place now, used to work at a place I'd see big turtles crossing the road going to work.

I's stop pick em up and give em a little boost across the road.

You are great !

I occasionally help snails of the path i walk upon before i step on them and crush the house. Why do snails always have to sit in the middle of the pavement ?
On the road to work near a forest there can be hundreds of tiny snails on the pavement. I always feel guilty when i hear something "crunch" while walking.

Nobody can watch videos like these and question the intelligence of these mammals.

The dolphin approached the divers and asked for help.

I love how he waited patiently while the guy removed the line, like "don't forget the part under my flipper". That dolphin has seen a lot of action too, look at those scars. We had a juvenile red fox approach us while we were in the backyard one evening, with a plastic Chi-Chi's salsa bottle stuck on his head. I believe he understood too, because he was unusually calm while we worked to take it off him.
