Humans can be so amazingly good. The thrill of helping an animal in distress and then receiving a huge "thank you" by that animal in its own way, must feel great.

Haven't had the chance in awhile as I work a different place now, used to work at a place I'd see big turtles crossing the road going to work.Humans can be so amazingly good.
