cool, I dig the jumping spiders. I had an encounter with one, I was watching it drag a housefly up a chair, when it dropped the fly.
I skewered the fly and "handed" it back to the spider. It looked at me, the fly, then took it from me and went on its way.

That's neat!
I absolutely despise arachnids of all varieties - that said, I do often torture myself with an interest in some of them for various reasons, usually something neat about their behavior.

Jumping spiders are among the most awesome of the spiders. They appear to have a level of intelligence many other spiders do not display - but I think more than anything it is because their senses are far more evolved than most other spiders, iirc, or at least their eye sight - though I might actually be wrong on that front.
