When do you have to return them?
Aghhh! I shall go flog myself.

Edit: It was a three owl day. The great horned owl chicks that live a couple blocks from my house are getting ready to fledge so we saw them bouncing around in their tree. The burrowing owls were as you see them. And there is a family of barn owls living down the block. The chicks are screaming their little heads off every night though we haven't spotted them yet.

That's pretty cool. For all the time I've spent outside, I could probably count the number of owls I've seen on one hand. The best was a big guy sitting on a snag in the the woods. He about 1' over my head, and I could walk all around him to check him out. He was close enough to grab if I had desired to. Don't know what kind it was. I'd have to dig up my bird book to see. He was big, but definitely not a great horned.

We had a hawk hanging around the suburbs briefly. Only got two shots of him and they both came out awful. By the time I bought a 55-200mm he was already gone.

Palom and Porom from Final Fantasy IV. One of my favorite games for life.

Don't know what's cuter, them being PERFECT or the fact they probably weren't even born when it came out, yet know about it. Representing the best of old school before their time. /sniffle
