Post terminal screen?

I have a computer that I maintain that has started prior to connecting to the internet, brings up a post
terminal screen. It gives the user the option to continue or cancel. If you click continue it connects fine.
Click cancel, it quits. My question is this where is this, where is this thing from and how do I get rid of it?
It just started and has to be something that is checked, that needs to be unchecked but I can't find anything. What am I missing?

in xp, go to network connections, right click the dial-up connection in question and select properites. Under the security tab un-check "Show terminal window"

I'm sure its similar in other versions of windows.

I have made sure that everthing is unchecked that should be but it is still there and controls the internet connection. Again if you click continue it fine, no it shutsoff the connection. The computer has installed on it Bellsouths answering service......ie if you get a phone call, it tells you whose calling while on the internet. When the screen comes up it has an address..... It says WQKT2 TNT1.Owensboro.KY.da.uu.net
Log in with a blinking cursor. Anyone game on this one.Still searching for answers.....
