Athlon 2500+ w/ 512mb of PC2100 (I'm getting some PC3200 later this week).

55 seconds
Athlon 2500+ @ 3200+ (2.19ghz) w/ 512mb of PC2100

1M: 52sec using winmodem
1M: 47sec disconnected (yeah, pray for me...i still use dialup)
1M: 45sec disconnected and turning active desktop off

Thinkpad T42. P-M1.7ghz Dothan 1GB RAM

and a shuttle SN41G with AthlonXP 2800+ and 512 mb ram did the 1M in 52 secs.

thats what happens when an app doesn't use hyperthreading. windows assumes 2x2.8ghz of cpu power, and sees 2.8 ghz of stuff being used, it'll show 50%

Anyway mine mobile 2600@2700mhz 38s, Ryan's Mobile 2600@2600mhz 40s, Zeke's Moblie 2400@2.34mhz 45s....My preteenagers have better comps than you wimps.:p

This test is highly FSB dependant which is why the OC'ed pentium guys do so well.

Mobiel 2500 @ 1.8; 180x10, Dual Channel, nForce 2.

That was with 2 BT windows, a newsbin window occupying 150mb ram and 850mb PF (updating headers), MP3 playing, and MSN and ICQ open.

Should OC it to 2.2 and see what happens :)
