I own (and am presently wearing) a shirt with one of the Mars Exploration Rovers on the front. Damn fine robots they are.

I feel this great urge to rename/organize people's mp3 folders.

How the hell can you live with a music folder that has files named 1337_haxorz_Nas_Untitled_track_7-DJ-BLAHBLAHMIX.mp3

i do that with my own. i don't mess do anything on anyone else's PC enough to even notice. my music files ahve to be organized by genre, artist, album, and then each file has to have the artists's name, album name, and song title...

agreed, I can't handle untagged things, drives me nuts.

Friends and I demonstrated to our teacher what running a screwdriver across a running motherboard would look like.

Sparks, lots of sparks.

While the wife was scratching my back I told her to scroll down. She just looked at me for a minute before I realized what I had said.

I assisted a friend in re-writing a stat calc for Ragnarok Online. The original was in Japanese, so we converted it to English and then added updates/etc. Eventually got tired and gave it to someone else to manage. I think it's been forgotten by now though....

edit: neither of us speak or know any Japanese.

Sadly, no. :(

Speaking of which, I'm hopeful for some good things from the upcoming Mars Science Lab. It's got the ability to acquire color 1280x720 video, though at only 10fps. And it's got a 10:1 zoom lens. :D

Back in high school, over a decade ago, I bought a coconut and hollowed it out.
Then I galloped through town with my trusty squire behind me, making the clip-clop noises.
My friend and I made pretty decent replicas of the Bluntman & Chronic costumes, and have worn them a couple times... once to the Kottonmouth Kings concert on Halloween.
My wedding next month is going to be at the renaissance faire.

I was playing FF7 with my ex by my side. So I started really kissing her and it was getting really steamy. Then the loading screen was done and I went straight back to playing. She was kind of mad.

my buddy and i spent our lunch break at a bar drinking beer and writing a java program using a monte carlo approach to figure out what the odds of winning shake of the day are.

(shake of the day is a dice game with 5 dice and you get 2 rolls for $1 to get all of a certain predetermined number. if you want, you can pay and extra dollar for a third roll)

In third grade or so when our homework was to find the sum of 1 to 100 I went home and did it in Lotus 123 for dos :D I showed up to class the next day with my old school dot-matrix printout.
