My D70 is comming and I cant wait

Nice. 🙂 My next upgrade....some years down the road will probably still be a Canon...but a prosumer level camera instead of the amateur budget camera....(I would have gotten the 10D but....well....budget)

i know what you mean i wich nikon has something inbetween teh d70/d100 and tge D2H, like a D2X 🙁

but it sould last me a while im more into film anyway

Heh my path was/is just the opposite.

I've done film....and it's just not as fun for me unless I get to develop everything in a darkroom for myself (aside from color negatives). I always loved manipulating the exposure and colors to however I wanted in the darkroom, or combining negatives and making a mosaic, or scrathing them, etc...

I think the only reason for me to shoot film anymore is for infrared or to use extremely low ISO pro slide film. Plus the cost and hassle of getting pictures developed....I save ALOT using digital. Every digital camera I've owned has pretty much paid itself off and then some many times over.

IF I were to go back to film on a regular basis, I'd probably do medium format. But by that point I'd probably be starting to invest in studio strobes and backdrops, etc...
