So, there have been a few articles in the past few days that have really gotten under my skin about Obama and his so called "post racial America" agenda that was put on by the media.

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/39204164

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/39250950/ns/politics-decision_2010/

Both articles are nothing more than our President trying to appeal directly to minorities against what might be called a "white agenda" by the GOP.

I find both of these occasions and his words to be so racially charged that I can't help to but be angry by them. So much for seeing past race...

If you consider old white people as the only race than yes your right.

Do you know many people who do not look like yourself? Most that I know actually like what he has done and only wish he was doing more of what he promised. I am a minority and will soon become the majority. I say this with no malice or contempt. Its a fact that people like you will need to deal with in the coming decades....

Now you will paint me as a reverse racist or some other label but can you also state that the southern strategy and race baiting by mainstream republicans and wingnuts isnt happening? Have you read what Newt has been pushing? Have you read that drivel the Forbes put out about Obama somehow being politically influenced by his DNA is a valid argument?

If you look at race relations outside of the outraged-tea partiers, social conservitives etc- things are actually better now than they have been in a long time. Young kids can look at their parents and ask "daddy can I be president?" and people of all colors can say yes...

sadly people of all religions cannot say yes to the above question when the intimation of being Muslim is enough to color someone as somehow being evil..

Your name is somewhat funny in the sense that you usually exhibit fear of minorities or concepts that you cannot understand....

I await your expletive ridden response with glee...

Oh, sorry.. I didn't realize Obama had fixed everything racial. My bad. Well now at least little black kids can be President, unfortunately, little girls are asking their parents why women still can't be President and why they are beaten down and put in their 'place' by the Democrat elite.

I have noticed though that Obama seems to be in a real comfortable place nuking brown people from 30,000 feet as long as they are Muslim's. Not sure if Obama is a racist or just a religious bigot.

But anyways, thanks for setting me straight on the race relations thing... can we stop blaming whitey now?

BTW - Just an FYI.. Your name is kind of funny in that it has animal in it. Most animals are pretty stupid and have small brains, it seems to fit you..

I never said that the world was a rosy place where racism was a thing of the past. The recent xenophobia and race baiting by newt and the like are clearly evidence enough.

Not really sure where you are coming from about women being beat down since Hillary was a hairs breath from becoming president. I actually voted for her in the primary but still found Obama head and shoulders above grumpy old man McCain. Dont conflate peoples criticism of O'Donnell on any sort of misogyny since its clearly an issue of ethics and character. Let me play your game.. Hmm let me see. I got one, Hitler had a mustache and I hate hitler so I am biased and bigoted towards mustaches. Boy that was a fun game...

Now I can expect your small mind typing something about me comparing her to hitler which would amuse me so I again await your resonse....

If you want to actually debate or foreign policy and discuss the military involvement and tactics in the middle east I am happy to do that.

I give you about a 4.2 on your small brains comment. Good try though... at least it wasnt laden with profanity...

Now FNE I only responded to you in this manner after you repeated called me names in a civil discussion. Now I will end it here and be the adult..

You'll have to give McCain the credit for that one, the Democrats didn't force him to choose Palin.

Try to keep up. I was pointing out the idiocy of trying to make some sort of point by discussing a person's name on the internet. Feel free to scroll up and read your attempt at trying to link my name to some sort of point about fearing minorities.

I'm not sure where your comments about profanity come from. Its pretty rare that I swear here, although I am sure it happens occasionally. I guess I can just chalk that up to your own self hate.

I do find it interesting that you yourself were too afraid of a black President to actually vote for him in the primary as well.. I guess its kind of like the Republicans who are anti-gay.. you claim to be post racial but are pretty much as bigoted as the angry white folk.

Nope- I made a tongue and cheek remark about your name and tied it to the point I was trying to make, if that was too complex for you then I apologize.

Now tying my vote for Hillary to fear of voting for a black man belies the fact that I voted for him in the general election and ignores the fact that I voted for Hillary because I liked her health care plan better. I still do btw.....

Again just because you oppose someone doesnt make you bigoted. I have no self hate at all. I actually like myself and my life and live with no regrets..

You still choose to ignore the meat of my real argument in regards to your first post in this thread... Your comment about Obama damaging race relations and hating whitey are veiled racist positions.

BTW I too liked Hillary's health plan better. Too bad it was not adopted by the Obama admin - at least as a starting point in the negotiations. We might have ended up with a public option.

Unless you are white. And then apparently it does in your mind. Nevermind almost everyone white who voted against Obama did so because of his policies as well. Those people are bigots, you are, umm.. enlightened because you choose to vote the white candidate over the black when you had a choice?

I do think your safe hate is beginning to consume you. You feel the need to point out that your 'race' is going to become the majority soon yet you seem to be unable to vote for another minority unless your are forced to. You seem completely unable to not use race as an excuse for everything that doesn't go your way or to explain how people don't think your way.

If this is Obama's post-racial America, god help us.

The only people who keep falling back to race arguments ARE racists.

What's wrong with opposing illegal immigration on the grounds that it's...you know...ILLEGAL? Why do I have to be racist against hispanics just because I oppose ILLEGAL immigration from Mexico?

The people these "targetted races" need to be mad at are the people of their own race who constantly reinforce the stereotypes commonly given their races. They are the ones who are halting progress, not the white people who couldn't give too shits what color you are as long as you buy their stuff and obey the fucking laws.

Bigots are blind. You will never get a racist to see he is a racist. Bigotry is internally consistent and completely right. It what is truth not racism. Only if you are not bigot yourself can you see the lie. Bigots are blind. You can't make them see their bigotry. They are the good people doing what is right. Only non bigots can see the lie. Bigots are blind and they will always be blind. Doesn't matter how many times you tell them. They can't be wrong because they're right. And the more the bigots kill the world the angrier the bigots become.

Poor poor blind bigots can't relax and enjoy the blue blue sky or the sun. They can't relax because of monsters.

A bigot is a person who is very sad. A bigot is a person who is deeply hurt. A bigot is a person who is so sad he fears he'll die if he contacts his pain. He feels so much pain and is so cut off from it, he needs to give it to others. The ultimate good is getting rid of pain because everybody knows it's better to cause pain to others than to suffer. A bigot is a good person doing the right thing. He doesn't feel his own pain and he doesn't feel the pain he causes others. Bigot is just another word for coward. A bigot isn't man enough to man up to pain. A bigot is so afraid to feel his pain he prefers the world itself dies of it.

Bigotry is extinction of the human race. Those who have died emotionally want that fate for everybody.

There isn't going to be a post-racial US until we stop defending subcultures. For example, the black subculture is damaging to black people and continues to isolate them, but it's not PC to say that. Is it a surprise that the first black president didn't have any connection to to this poisonous African-American culture?

Obama is the most racist president we've had in a long time. Whenever any subject "racial" comes up he always assumes that whitey was wrong or "acted stupidly". Then look at his racist church and the racist rantings of his mentor of 20 years and his self admitted biggest influence in his life.

There's nothing wrong with opposing illegal immigration because it's illegal. But on the other hand, the existence of a non-racist objection to illegal immigration doesn't mean it's impossible to oppose illegal immigration for racist reasons.

For instance, saying you don't like an environment of casual law breaking is a non-racist objection. Saying you don't like having so many dirty, lazy Mexicans in your country IS racist.

The problem with your argument is that you're rejecting the middle ground...while not all people do things for racial reasons, there IS still racism in this country. And it's equally stupid to suggest racism is impossible as it is to just dismiss all arguments against "minority issues" as racially motivated.

Rainsford, regarding racism still in this country the truth, and you know it, is the most racist people there are are overwhelmingly minorities. Obama is no exception. White people really just don't care what race you are.
