I'd love to put more cement down in my backyard like that... grass is entirely too boring. Cost much ?

u talking about my house or oldsmoboat's house ? I live on LI, not NYC. I wouldn't want to pay nearly half a mil for no land or parking... used to be a Queens boy... ugh.

Ours was $330k when we bought it 2 years ago. It goes for about $400k now (slightly older house across the street just sold for that). I'll PM you the good towns... ours is a mediocre town in terms of schools, but a good town for starter homes.

Grass is boring and concrete is... what, exactly? Exciting?
You take a look at my backyard with nothing but grass and you see that with islands of flowers with walkways... you tell me...

A patio I can understand, but an entire damn backyard of concrete with a few islands? No thanks. Why not just landscape your yard instead?

That's very nice! I'd love to have a place like that.

The best part is that it is 100% paid for, that's right, mortgage-free, all mine (and my husband's), no payments, no siree, yippee. And that feels good!
