I have it on Windows 2000 Adv Server for my LAN card connection. Ahem, cable too! :D

Actually, mine is for more DSL connection. It uses the PPPoE protocol, therefore you still have to press a &quot;connect&quot; button even though it's pretty much instantaneous.
I've been dial-up free for 16 months and counting :D

why do all you ppl need so much RAM!! Your not running anything:

A real man's desktop (or maybe an ADD diagnoised desktop??)

BTW: That connection in the corner is actually my DSL. It is always-on, but I kinda like seeing when the modem is sending and recieving, esp. when webpages are slow to respond. Under windows 2000 it is possible to monitor network connections in the system tray (i dont know about 9x)

Here's my simple yet useful interface/desktop.
These are usually the programs I've running.. and I have 256mb ram for nothing :p
