I'm a big fan of The Saint with Val Kilmer(sp?)

I dont know what it is, but I just cant get enough of that movie, not too many people have heard about it, or seen it.

I dug "The Saint" because I used to watch reruns of the TV show by that same name... it was Roger Moore playing a James Bond kinda guy before he even played Bond. The Saint was a good movie but even better if you knew the whole history... I still remember the Saint's Volvo 1800... that was a sweet friggin ride. 😀

someone mentioned Hudsucker Proxy- I second that. Here are some must see foreign movies:

Lagaan- very charming, very long Indian drama about cricket with some nice musical scenes every now and again.

Happy Times- A charmer from China, about a dude who pretends to run a hotel to win a woman's heart and hires her blind daughter to work in the non-existent message parlor of the hotel. Sad ending...

Shaolin Soccer- poor Chinese put together a rag tag soccer team to win some money. they suck, so use kung fu techniques to improve their game. pretty funny and great special effects.

All of the above got 4.5 star average rating from amazon, you're gonna like something. I got a couple other good Chinese ones to recommend but can't remember their names. The Chinese sure know how to make a movie, unlike the Japanese...

City of God

Powerful, powerful movie.

I don't think you can include Michael Mann or Luc Besson movies on this list. They're all really good, but way too well known.
