right.

I know many. Usually it's because those companies are cheap and won't hire enough staff to be able to function without interns.

Actually, I am one class from getting my BS in CIS. Course, I didn't go to a great college, but I do have a lot of job experience and knowledge. (I went to DeVry University Pomona btw) Trust me, My manager was from cornell university, the new interns that they hired are from cal poly pomona, but none of them know how to do ANYTHING. All talk out of their asses. Anybody know of any job openings? Please let me know. lol thanks!

If you gave the company notice, you are in good shape for a new gig. I recommend that you get that degree as soon as possible. It can keep a door from closing on you...

And um, about the guy who mentioned that same company and leaving a door open - do you really want to work for a sh!t company who threatened to fire you in the first place? Yea ok.

I find that most college educated people in IT don't know their ass from an RJ-45 jack in the wall.

So, they all get told they have 1 month left, but they all get 4 month buy-out packages. My friend gets a call from the company who has the IT contract, and takes a job with them, to do what he is doing now. So, he gets 4 months of free pay, and gets paid more money to do exactally the same job!! bastard!
Hahaha... the expression on their face must've been priceless.

 Cheers to you man! Same thing happened when I was a kid (in HS) and helped around the house, with computers. I was most definately taken for granted for and when i got fed up I just let them swim in thier filth. Then when they plead I reluctantly accept and just do the deed.

Bah, I quit my job last week and they offered me more money so I still work there. I have to work most of the holidays too, which sucks because I don't really live here only here for school.
