Post detect none harddrive

hi, i have a end user that said that said POst dont' even detect primary or slave harddirve and said none. it ask for password. does that mean someone else set up a password on the bios?

If it straight off asks for a password then yes, it is BIOS passworded. If you need to get rid of it, here is the solution. If you remove the CMOS battery from the motherboard for about 2 minutes, this will revert the BIOS to defaults, thus getting rid of the password. The reason I say for 2 minutes is because the battery must lose it's charge otherwise the BIOS won't reset.
