Therein lies the fail

No - the FAIL lies in not understanding that a small window shaker will not have the cooling capacity to sufficiently make the cabin cool! Car A/C units have capacities up to five tons (60,000 btu/hr) whereas the small window shaker unit pictured is one ton or less. That's the fail.
