Civil cases to not require "Beyond a resonable doubt", only that it was probable. No matter what, even if the lady (who you don't seem to care about BTW) was off any medication she may have supposed to be taking (your really stupid guess), or anything else, you still hit a pedestrian. Do you think the hospital staff works for free? An ambulance ride and admittance to the emergency room is at minimum 10k, + the stay and medication, so you are over 20k already. As I said, no matter who was at fault, you will be paying through the nose for the next 7 years because your dumbass didn't have AT LEAST minimal insurace. Now you will have to pay 10's of thousands on a lawyer, and end up having to pay for her medical (as your insurance company would have if you HAD INSURACE)

But no, you were to fvcking stupid to have insurace. Do you know what insurace is? It is, "Just in case". Well, guess what. You just became a "Just in case." You just fvcked yourself for a long while to come because you were not paying attention for a split second.

I hope this thread will AT LEAST get everyone out there to get at least minimal insurace. Hell, your only talkin' at most $200 a month, and that is if you are 16. $200 a month or hundreds of thousands. Hmmm..

Now get your ass off the internet and get a lawyer. ATOT is not where you come for legal advice, that is what lawyers are for. Go get one. Now.
