What...no progress in the last several months? Contractors go on strike? You'd think Wexler would have enough $$ to finish it up!

Actually I have no ideas who ownes that house. Its not Lex's. I heard that his house has over 2k windows :Q

dude, paint your face plates. this is hideous.
Dude..kiss my ass. Thats not even my present computer case. Personally painting faceplates silver on a aluminum case look like ass. Other colors look alright but not aluminum.

Yeah, I know. It's the same here in England.
I guess that's an advantage of living in a country where there is plenty of space rather than one were land costs around $1.5 million per acre.

It really depends on where you live. My house here cost me $200k three years ago, and it's 100 years old and in really good shape inside and out. Something like this in CA would be several million.

Man are you delusional! It's a nice place but it isn't that nice. You'd get a Million for it if it was in an exclusive nieghborhood maybe (and that's because the lot would be worth so much).

It TOTALLY depends on where you are buying here. A vacant lot in a prime location could go for millions of dollars here. I don't mean an acrage either. I'm talking about a 1/3 acre. Then you have to pay the $40 000/year in property taxes.

On the other hand, you could buy a 3000 sq ft house out in a sparsely populated area on a 2 acre lot with a beach and lake for a back yard for $200 000 no problem; $150 000 if you were smart.

Right now we live in the suburbs of Vancouver in a 2700 sq ft house we could probably get $300 K for. That wouldn't even get us the vacant lot across the street from Ryan Sengara's place (~30 minute drive straight towards downtown from here basically), but if we moved to Alberta, we could get something closer to downtown Calgary at 3200 sq ft and still have money left over.

Yup, even the top-dogs @ ADT use the phone line... unless you pay extra for that pager service where it's wireless...

I found their monthly cost to be too much ($25-$33/mo.)... I pay $12/mo. right now with an independent guy and it hooks up to a central station just the same. I "test" their response time monthly.
