You sure keep alot of junk on your desktop.

The best desktop is one without any icons or folders on it.

I probably have the most exciting desktop here.

Mine

;)

I don't like a desktop cluttered with icons (pretty inefficient way of finding stuff when there are dozens of folders and shortcuts), but I guess I went a little too far with that, heh. I don't even need the Recycle Bin... I always Shift-Delete. I put documents or text files on the desktop every now and then of reminders or whatever.

I don't run much stuff in the tray either. No one uses ICQ anymore so I rarely bother loading Miranda. I need SetPoint running always, other than that just uTorrent, Winamp, or Daemon as needed.

Though I guess I should get a wallpaper. I have some just never bothered to put them up. I need to run the uxtheme patcher and check out if there are any new, good themes to use.

That color blue would kill my eyes after 5 minutes or so. Just looking at it for the brief seconds I had the window open gave me a headache. Other than that, the desktop looks nice and clean.

Intense. 2x 24" screens? Nice!

Yeah I guess that blue color is pretty crappy. There are not many colors that work well as a solid desktop color. That darker blue was far better than most I tried. I guess I don't spend more than a few seconds seeing the entire desktop... usually at least have Firefox open which only leaves like 25% showing on the right.

It really sucks when I transition to my eeepc and back to my desktop again. Everything is just so big!

The only solid color I have ever seen really work for a background is black. Every other color is just too distracting or bright. One of the pranks I used to do way back in the day that exemplified this was when I changed the colors of the windows terminal to pink and light teal on my friend's computer and made it full screen. ;)
