This is from a while ago. Sadly, it usually looks like this 99% of the time. I'm getting a new desk/office and an assistant this week, so I should be able to reduce some of the mess. It's about freakin' time!

Oh please. There are several square feet of floor visible there. I'll post a pic of my computer room soon. I'll try for a panorama first.

Edit: Panorama

Hot damn, Autostitch is quite impressive.

HOLY FSCK! How do you even get to your PC? Is that a propane tank on the top of your shelf? That isn't a baby blanket on the floor behind your chair, right Britney?

:thumbsup: I really like your setup. Something about the way you have your room setup really appeals to me. What kind of desk is that?

I second that! Now I know how I wanna redo the living room.

Haha nice to see a few of the other pics posted having X530 'extra boombastic' speaker setups.

Put it on there cause the shrink wrap from the SP1 CD I've had since 2004 was starting to tear :p Check older pictures of the case, it ain't there.

Wow, someone else has a Mac! I hadn't seen any other Apple systems posted yet except for my Powerbook. :Q

Well, it's not quite a Mac, but I have a Apple 30" display on page one :). I've got a iMac G4 at my other house, but I've owned a slew of Apple products in the past.

How do you like the flex arm? I'm thinking of getting a couple for my 172Xs. Do they come w/ everyting you need to mount the monitors like the screws and stuff?

That is quite an object of lust... I remembered seeing an Apple Cinema display hooked up to a PC somewhere in the thread, but couldn't tell if it was the 30" or not. It's a very nice display.

It sure is :). I used to run it on a G5, then switched to a PowerBook, but since I wanted to make it a media center for HDTV recording (hence the HD cable box on the floor), Windows was the best platform for it.

Very good quality, I'm happy with mine, it comes with everything you need uncluding plenty of quality screws, an allen wrench, spacers, washers, you name it. The plate that is used to wedge the desk lip comes in 2 styles to conform to your desk setup(1 rectangular plate and one triangular), quality stuff for sure. All of the joints are adjustable as far as tightness/friction goes..just use the allen wrench to loosen or tighten and adjust to your position. There are cable holders that keep the power/data cables together neatly so that they are not easily visible. The mount itself is heavy and it reflects on the workmanship of the unit.

There's really nothing it won't mount to...the 4 holes on the back of your LCD monitor line up with the flex arm plate and you just use the provided screws to secure it. It's a no brainer setup...very simple too.
