this I really can't understand, 79 Blazer as a handle. 2 mustangs, then all the time spent on pics of a 97 town car?????

sort of wierd, but if it's your bag

The *69* mustangs were the best overall....definitely with 1/4 mile potential. My first car was a 66 GT, my father and I fully restored (the whole car was better than stock, not just a MAACO paint job and some rims restoration claim).

Personally one of the 'projects' in my mind is taking a 69 Super Jet, bringing it to 2k standards under the hood, inside and underneath.

keep the outside stock, maybe a little lower.

I bet that spoiler really helps it hold the road

I knew somewhere along the line on this board that someone would criticize it.

Yes, three years ago, I did buy it at first for asthetic effects. Prior to buying, I had read that spoilers, if correctly installed, tend to help create downforce on the car. Which serves small things such as balance, and stability at high speeds. I did not buy this spoiler from some random store just for the hell of it one day. I had purchased the spoiler from a wrecked '96 Supra.

The '90-'93 (5th generation) celica coupe generation models are all heavy in the front, and light in the rear.

If you want to read or know more about downforce, what it basically does is only helps the car at high speeds. Plane engineers originally created spoilers for planes since it helped it during the landing course. You can go find more out on other webpages, i'm guessing hostuffworks.com may have info.

Granted I don't drive 100+ MPH often enough nor do I do so for very long. It may have had not much effect over the years I've had on, but what can I do? I put it on when I was younger and seeking to improve my own car. Nowdays I look back and think of myself as foolish for doing some of the stuff. But in the end, hey, whatever works.

This was right after I got it in Oct '04. I haven't taken any pics since. I've had it for less than 5 months and it has 10,400 miles.. although 95% of them are all highway miles, it's still a lot.

I'm contemplating getting a '91-'93 240sx hatchback to use as my beater/project car (plus, I really like that car). I probably won't anytime soon, but it'd be fun.

Edit: I'll throw up smaller pics if those annoy enough people. :)
