Nice pic. I recently went in a plane and try to take a shot of my city but a combination of dirty windows and the camera wanting to focus on the propeller instead of the city, it came blurry. Most pics came blurry in fact.
Here's parts my city (Timmins, ON)

Odds are neither Xanis nor your friend actually live in Newtown proper, which is small and nice, but rather in one of the many, many, many mediocre and stultifying featureless cookie-cutter developments that have popped up like pimples around it.
