Pics of my team and I after having completed the Bataan Death March memorial the day before. It consists of 26.2 miles (a marathon) through the terrain of White Sands Missle Range. None of us had ever competed in a marathon before, much less one in the desert. We trained up for 3 weeks prior (take that P. Diddy!) and 4 of the 5 of us finished from the team (all in the back row). One team mate fell out from heat exhaustion with less than two miles to go. We were pretty pissed at him, but it was still worth competing. He is wearing the blue baseball cap in the pic and I am second from the left in the back row. We are at the memorial that was established there to commemorate the sacrifice of the troops from WW2.

I made this for my bf on our 6 month. If you can't tell, it's a big rice krispies treat heart with marshmallow bunnies on it and it says "G + L" Lemme tell yah... getting that lump of rice krispies to be heart shaped before it cooled wasn't easy.
