What is ATI's next card after the X1900 and is there an ETA for it? I'm going to skip the 7900/X1900 generation and it looks like ATI may get my money next time around.

What is ATI's next card after the X1900 and is there an ETA for it? I'm going to skip the 7900/X1900 generation and it looks like ATI may get my money next time around.

Isnt the next ATI's the R600 later this year or something like that ? Someone clarify....

Then what is the excuse in ( I think Far Cry ) and other games that the black shadow over the gun barrel and it isnt present on Ati hardware ?

unfortunately, i dont think soft shadows works with the adaptive AA on.
