can someone post a pic of a pic or lead me to a pic of any newly released game at a high resolution. not below 1024*768
 
Exactly.

Even though that's at max settings, 4x AA, 8x AF, 1600x1200, games these days are still just not that great.

I want to see realistic looking games, so real it's like the CG in the movies 🙂
 
4x AA, 8x AF, 1600x1200 guess no high hopes for bying fear
it is fear right
whens something like farcry or doom 3 going to come out later
 
i think sli is a waste too its all supposed to be about single card competition
who started multi gpu systems nvidia or ati

that means that nvidia admitted that they cant create a single gpu that is powerful enough unless its supported by another one ****LOL**** i would expect this from nvidia since there will only be 24 pipes in the 7900

heh...have you tried it?

i can tell you, it's hecka fast and the minimum framerates is usually much higher than any single card would get (relative to same generation products)
it improves gaming experience by a lot!
 
To me,SLI or crossfire just seems like such a waste if you don't play above 1600x1200.
Fear was the only really demanding game to come out recently, and personally I didn't think it was that great of a game to get 2 video cards.

Is Quake , CoD 2 worth buying (graphics wise) i thing quake is good since iD made the game

You should be able to....I get more than 50 constant on the X1800 XL ....Not sure about that high res though

The image quality is better. I cant say this from personnal experience. But I have seen screens rendered on both cards and the ATi image is better.....Ill see if I can find that review....
