post a link to the worst area of your town

Here

They bulldozed the saguaros, blasted the mountain sides, bladed the shit out of everything, and built hideous mcmansions that are freaking eyesores that can be seen for miles. Disgusting place.

My town has apopulation of 5800 in over 61 square miles. The bad area is the city of Syracuse, thirtyfive miles south.

My town has under 4K population, which means the 'bad' areas are the meth lab trailer park communities outside it. Although 20 miles down the road you got mexican gang central, so I guess it kind of evens out.

my town is too small to have a "bad" section
ditto.

my town is ~0.5 sq miles... there isn't enough room for a bad section.

well, we do have a half-built townhouse project that's been shuttered for years (I think the housing downturn knocked the developer out of business) but it's remarkably well maintained. no broken windows or any signs of vandalism whatsoever. kids these days 🙄

of course, it's also about 30' away from the big speed trap in my town, so there are always cops around there too.

my town gets nicer as you go south 🙁

we have a restaurant called Southside Grill. ironically, it's the northern-most business in my town.

Same with my city. North and East are the directions one does not generally want to go. Unless you want crack or a hooker.

Hang on, let me figure out where the dark skinned minorities live.
that's a good point... with that criteria, I guess this would be the worst part of my town:

http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&sou...panoid=YjkQhzzgO3nzmo-iu_pgfA&cbp=12,135,,0,5

a bunch of african american college kids live there and the house next door to them is abandoned and possibly condemned (it's been on the market for at least a year now and there's some bright dayglo orange sticker on the front door as of a couple weeks ago)

Worst area? The only reason one area would be considered "worst" is because the roads sometimes turn to soup during the spring thaw. Some improvements have helped a lot in the past year or so though. The road just beyond my house might even get paved this year, which will take away from some of the rural country character - but will greatly reduce the amount of dust in the house.
