I live in Wheaton (about 35 miles north of you, a bit west).

We are paying about 840 a month for a 1 bedroom in this area. But wheaton is expensive :-/

Wouldn't that be about 35 miles Southwest of Lincolnshire?

Uh... suburbs of chicago kick booty.. I've lived in downers grove and bolingbrook and no complaints. Top notch school systems if you have kids too. Not sure if I know where lincolnshire really is geographiclly though.

Depending on where in Lincolnshire you'll be working, a ten minute drive will take you to Micheal Jordan's house. You might consider Vernon Hills, or Highwood Park, as they're both pretty close. Deerfield and Highland Park are very nice, but a wee bit expensive. The city could be an option if you don't want to drive anywhere. Yes, it's expensive in the city, but when you don't own a car, it becomes affordable, and you get in shape from the walking, and it forces you to get out and about. I say if you want to meet new people, move to the city. Take the train to Lincolnshire and you'll be set. Will you employer be close to the train station?

Taking a train from Chicago to Lincolnshire isn't as easy as you think. I've tried that approach before.

If you are going to be working in Lincolnshire, check out Vernon Hills (maybe even Mundelein, but its not great) or Libertyville just to the north, nice towns, but not as expensive as Glenview or Lincolnshire.

If you are going to be there on the 21 - 22 of Feb. I know of a huge bash going on. My friend is a party promoter and is throwing the party. $25 cover, all you can drink from 10pm-1am, live music followed by a DJ. ends at 4 am.

PM me for details.
