Possibly a dumb question - mATX mobo in mid-tower case

I'm planning a build at the moment. This isn't my first build by a long shot, but I've never used a mATX motherboard before. What's the deal with mATX motherboards in mid-tower cases, specifically the Antec Nine Hundred Two. There happens to be a mATX mobo that I'm really keen on. I'm fairly sure they should fit with no issues, just making sure. Do mATX motherboards look funny in mid-tower cases?

I bought a mATX board for my mid tower. For one I did not have a need for more than 1 PCI slot and secondly when I upgrade, I will move this motherboard to a smaller sized case for the kids room.

But the bottom of my case it pretty empty. But I don't have a window on the case so it does not matter anyway I suppose.

I put a matx motherboard in an antec 1200. Doens't look terrible at all maybe because the power supplies in the bottom so it doesn't look so void.

It's not too bad. It was nice for my HTPC to have a little extra room in the small case vs having the full ATX board with horrible cable management.

All ITX/mATX/ATX/EATX boards have wholes derivative of each other in reverse direction so all ITX boards will fit in any ATX case.

Works and doesn't look bad at all. I've currently got a mATX board in a full size Lian-Li case.

It works pretty well, and there is a lot of empty room at the bottom. I am personally trying to find a mATX case (to replace a NSK4400, which is one of the smallest that supports ATX) though because I don't game (no big, dual slot video cards), have 1-2 hard drives and an optical.

I've got an mATX board in a mid-tower case. Never thought about it looking funny before. I was grateful for the little extra room to work with, better for airflow and at one point ran a cable down through there. Plus the board was $40 cheaper than many alternatives!
