Hi! I was wondering if any knew if it was possible to get and play Zombies Ate My Neighbors on SNES on the PC, I've seen 1 video long time ago of what looked to be possible but I can't find it anymore.
I really want to play this game as part as #ThrowbackThursday. But I don't have my old Super Nintendo anymore. :(
If its possible to get this on PC, that would great!

Also, if its possible will it also be possible to play like the classic Sonic, and PS game, and such too?

You can use emulator programs to play the roms although technically they are not exactly legal. ;)

I see. Any clue where I can get the Zombies Ate my neighbours rom? I really want this NOW!

Emulators aren't legal? "Are not exactly legal"? (...) I can take a ride on the dangerous side, so...
Am I supposed to dump anything if I use a (if they have one) PlayStation emulator? Like with the Bois or something. I remember seeing that somewhere.

Emulators themselves are legal. A dump of a retail game, called a "ROM image" is not strictly legal. If you own the cart and dump it yourself, it can be considered "fair use", but downloading a ROM image is considered piracy.

Downloading the ROM image isn't something we can help you with here - Piracy violates the rules.

I found it!:) but downloading this rom from the internet is illegal?
I mean I guess I could just play it once then delete it afterwards.

is it on the Wii U store?

Yes it is available for the Wii virtual console.

That was a good suggestion.

I need to start checking out what all is available myself now that we have a Wii U at home.

I've honestly taken a stance against using the virtual consoles on Nintendo systems. Since they do not have consistency between console generations and always pick and choose what they will release it is a lost value.

It is not the same as Steam where it can follow you regardless if you get a new PC or not as well as a very limited memory footprint. They have a long ways to go when it comes to digital distribution.

They've unified the Wii U and 3DS e-stores.

I guess we won't know until their next console how well the strides they'd made actually are.

I bought Earthbound on day 1, though. Because Earthbound.

Hmm.

So how does it work then? If I buy a digitally distributed game on my Wii U through the Nintendo store, that game doesn't stay with my account? Or, does it stay with my account by I can only download it on a Wii U console?

I will say the account management with Nintendo is very strange. The only way I was able to purchase anything was to make an account completely different than my Wii U account. I could never find a way to link the two together.

Sorry. I realized this is terribly off-topic now that I think about it. Maybe it would be better as a new topic on the consoles forum.
