Possible worm or virus

does any one know how to see what dll files are running svchost.exe in the task mrg. I am running win xp home sp2. I have 6 of these damn things running I just know something is attacking me but no virus or spyware detector can see it....

It maybe a valid version of svchost.

But its always possible that it is a virus under the same name though, as always make sure to update your virus definitions and scan just in case

Not exactly sure, but I think it also might be related to IIS (if you have it running)

Perfectly normal. I have 4 copies of svchost.exe running on my 2000 Professional machine.

6 copies here too. I wouldn't worry about it, only if they're called scvhost, or anything other than svchost.exe. Also, if you see large CPU usage spikes with just one of those copies, then you may be infected.
RavAntivirus is an excellent online, free virus scanner.
