Possible warm deal on Arctic Silver

A company called Everything Connected is selling Artic Silver (small contact) for $13 and free shipping. This is cheaper than buying it direct from the cooling store or from most other retailers. Its only a $4 - $8 savings but every little but helps 🙂

A few downsides:

1. No reseller ratings listing
2. Payment through paypal/x.com

However, for a fairly low ticket item the chance that there is any funny buisness goin on is fairly low.

It is a good deal, what about s/h?

If the s/h seems to much, here is an alternative Link

There s/h looks good ($1 for up to 2 tubes).

I'm not trying to talk people off from this deal, in fact, just try to give everyone as many choice to pick as I can.😉

Oops, sorry...I didn't carefully read that the shipping is free.

The page says "secure connection" with a copy of the Pay Pal page, but it does not appear to be a secure page...

WageSlave, I think it's not worth the price difference for the performance which is not much. Get a better heatsink for the price or use it to give a gift for a friend.

Looks legit to me, just ordered. The're going to
make a ton of money 'cause they redirect into
PayPal and if you sign up, they get the $5 referral.
Pretty slick.

I got mine Friday. They ship USPS First Class mail. They are located in the Northeast so you easterners will get it quicker. I am in California and I ordered monday morning and it got here friday.

Got it from The Cooling Store. My CPU temp for 950MHz@1.75v before (with stock HSF) was 57. It is now 54. Is it safe to operate like this? At default freq and voltage it is only 41 degrees.

How do you guys know the temperature of your cpu's? Also, I have a PIII 500 (@500), but it's on 24/7...think I need a fan?
