Never powered one up, but looked at a few demos, this board included. I was highly impressed with the manual and documentation, and the general construction of the board. They have been around awhile. In other words, if I needed yet another mobo, I would grab that on. i810's a decent chip for general non-3D use.

for 3d gaming, i find that the 810 isn't bad at all provided you do not use the onboard video. i got a soyo sy7iwb which has the 810 on it. paired with a voodoo 3 3000 pci that i got from VA.com for $15, the system plays counter strike at 800 x 600 very nicely.

The video is terribly slow. The good thing about this board, and all other 810/e's is that with Windows ME you will need NO driver disks, none, nada.

The 810/e chipset is Extremely reliable for the 66->100 fsb overclocking too. I've had about 2x the luck of overclocking a 366 celeron to 550 and very much stability running a celeron 566 at 850 on one.

Bummer on the forsale/trade usually has some for dirt cheep, i think like $39 - 49 shipped.
